Warranty
Déluce Lighting is proud of the products we manufacture and warrants all Déluce products to be free from defects under professional installation, storage and use for a period of (1) year from date of purchase. Our merchandise is carefully packed and handled before leaving our factory. The carrier, upon acceptance of the shipment, assumes the responsibility for its safe delivery. Any claims for loss or damage sustained in transit must therefore be made to the carrier. Any external evidence of loss or damage must be noted on the freight bill or express invoice, and signed by the carrier’s agent. Failure to adequately describe such external evidence of loss or damage may result in the carriers refusal to honor a damage claim. The carrier will supply the form required to file such a claim. Concealed loss or damage means, that which does not become apparent until the merchandise has been unpacked. The contents may be damaged in transit due to rough handling even though the carton may not show external damages. When the damage is uncovered during unpacking make a written request for inspection within 24 hours of the delivery date. Then file a claim with the carrier’s responsible. Our warranty liability extends to credit of said fixture only after Déluce Lighting has given written authorization and the material has been returned, tested, and proven defective by faulty manufacturing. We will not be held responsible for labor, material, or any other charges that do not have our written consent before such work is implemented. The warranty is void if the product is not stored, installed, and operated in accordance with NEC, UL, CSA, ANSI and all other local and state codes. Warranty excludes products not manufactured by Déluce, which have been installed and used in conjunction with Déluce Lighting products. Warranties set forth herein are in lieu of any and all other warranties. In no event is Déluce liable for special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind.
